Tasted blind. Clear, bright, deep purple, with no rim variation, heavy extraction and thick legs. The nose is clean, youthful and pronounced, with red fruit, black fruit, herbs, green pepper, some alcohol, dark chocolate. A little mineral dustiness is for the most part hidden by new american oak (smoke, vanilla, coconut, sweet spice). The palate is dry and medium (+) to full-bodied, with ripe black berry, black cherry and baking spices. The tannins are medium (+), the alcohol is high, the acidity is medium, the finish is long, with medium (+) complexity. This is still very young and should continue to improve as it becomes better integrated.

Very nice bottle at $25, not $35.

Took a while to open up, then just an ordinary drinker. Hope my other bottle shows better.

^ what that guy said. It's a solid Cabernet. Big fruit and good tannins make it a great wine with red meat. And great standing alone.
