From Coravin. Quite herbaceous, initially, on the nose with an underpin of jubey raspberry fruits, earth and some sweet spice. With time in the glass joined by some dusty pencil shavings. In the mouth it's juicy, fleshy, the fruit strays towards red currant and cranberry but still retains a little raspberry note, tannins are silky textured but drying, all travel long but with the herbaceous note playing second fiddle on the palate. Hmm

Burgundy "Masterclass" - Day 1 (Sydney, New South Wales, Australia): [From Coravin] The aromas and flavours have a medium(+) intensity. There are notes of fruit development (prunes) and bottle-age (vegetal, roasted vegetables, wet earth, forest floor, tobacco). These characters almost combine to preset a fruit cake like quality. The acidity still shows (medium level), as do the medium(-) level tannins. The finish has a medium(+) length, showing additional notes of a stem/whole-bunch character (smokey ash). Very enjoyable.

From Coravin. Earth, slightly herbaceous, savoury spice, meaty, slight stalks, red currant and dusty cranberry. Juicy, fleshy, fresh, similar red fruit to the nose, long. Nice.

From Coravin. Clay, wet earth, slight pencil shavings, sweet spice, a little plummy muted fruit. Sweet spice on the palate, some slightly gritty tannic burr on the front of the tongue, a little caramel and sweet plum. Hmm
