  • Intoxicatingly intense floral and earth aromatics, but greenness emerges over time and palate fades. Nice balance and sweetness, surprising length.

  • 12 hours of breathing, best in last glass. Soaring aromatics just at a completely different level, citrus, orange, hawthorn, ethereal primrose, violet, animalistic, meaty, chocolate, truffle, salinity. Light in disguise but so incredibly powerful, almost too detailed and too much, all the elegance and drive that Musigny is originally known for. It is a wine that misses on very few marks, if any, refreshingly green, and truly a class in its own. 97-98+
