  Had at John and Dot BBQ. Still very fresh - had with steaks. Some cigar box and menthol, but lots of black fruits

  Dulwich Wine Society Premium Australian Cabernet Sauvignon: Still ruby red. Tomato leaf, cigar box, cloves and black olive on a background of blackcurrants. Fabulous!

  Drank prior to a Diana Madeline and very much the softer, more open of the two. Floral nose that had some wondering if it was OK. Still a lot of fruit but structure was softer so reckon it’s close to peak. Cassis and black currents still there with secondary notes coming through on the finish. Was gone too quickly and last bottle too. Lovel wine.

  Very restrained with noticeable tannins and acidity. Not your usual WA fruit bomb. Cigar box and leathery secondaries ComIng through. Pencil shavings. Primary of black fruits still there. Probably near it’s peak?

  Drank under Coravin over a few weeks. Classic Margaret river Cab - very accessible. Dark fruits, lush with good tannins and acidity. A fair bit of sediment though.
