  Licorice, cherry, orange, tobacco, mushroom. Beautiful texture thanks to velvety tannins and bright fruit. This is highly elegant, balanced and refined, nothing overdone. Complex and classic, one for purists. I doubt it will improve with further cellaring, but it should remain on top for 5 more years and drink well until 2033. A little too short to merit a higher score.

  Really enjoyed this. After a 1 hour decant it opened up nicely with flavors of dark berry, dark cherry and earth. Before decanting the tannins were to heavy.
