Great Echezeaux. Dark fruit with notes of different berries, classic Vosne Romanee minerals, earthy nose. Elegant wine from a difficult vintage. Ready to drink now or keep for at least 5 years.

Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. Very good balance of fruit and earthy evolution but clear signs of being underripe with that 2004 green edge peaking through on finish.
marked by some vintage derived green characters. It had some bright red fruits and plenty of earth and was just ok.
