  • Popped and poured, then followed over 7 days.
    Quite green on the nose, especially on day one. Stems? If that's the reason, then there was too much of them and they were too green. Tart on the palate, with a balanced body and fine-grained though astringent tannins.
    It lasted surprisingly well over seven days, improving in fact, since its green character receded somewhat, but it never disappeared completely. Also the mouthfeel improved, but the astringency on the finish never disappeared completely. This may become nice with several years in the cellar, but I would not bet on it...
