As mentioned by others, it needs air. Dark fruit, cherry & blackberry, earth, leather, with a little licorice/anise on the end. Medium/full tannins. I picked this up probably six years ago based on a 94 rating by WE. Review recommended drinking from 2019, so I waited. It’s good and I think I got it for $14, so it gets a little extra credit. But it’s just definitely not in 94 territory.

Quite a craggy wine. Has aromas and flavours of blackberries, earth, leather hints, chalk, and cherries. Its medium bodied linear yet craggy palate has got good acidity and depth. Ends mediumish, lightly tannic and Food friendly. 12.5%. Needs aerating 2hrs. Drink in the next couple of years. I chilled this to improve drinkability.

Fantastic. Decanted about 1 hour prior. Great fruit with a long finish. Excellent QPR.

Très austère et animal, des mures et
des tanins serrés avec une finale longue mais asséchante.

This wine needs a major decant. First night almost undrinkable.
Day 2 is much more pleasurable. Vibrant acidity, drying tannin, blackberries, and a chalky minerality.
