  • PnP, with black cherry and spice notes on the nose. Ripe black cherry leads the way on the palate, with background notes of citrus and spice that gain traction after air time, framed by medium-high acidity. Warming, like a really good fruitcake.

  • Served with grilled salmon. Last bottle of 4 and wine has held up well over the past 3 years. While fruit is still pronounced, wine appears to have toned down just a bit.

  • Second bottle of this wine. Double decanted about an hour before serving with grilled salmon. This is a very good Oregon Pinot Noir with black cherries and plums (and just a touch of maraschino) on the nose and initial flavors with good length. Should last a few years. Look forward to additional bottles.

  • Did not decant. Served with grilled salmon. Nose of black cherries, smoke, and berries, with some soft, tannins in the mid-range and moderate length. Very good and enjoyable Oregon Pinot Noir from an excellent year. I would buy this again.

Wine was even better the second day when I fixed deep fried dove. The wine almost explodes from the glass with cherries, cinnamon and spices, and berries. Full mouth feel, mid range, and finish with good length. I will have to buy more of this.
