Medium straw. Developed, petrology, minerally nose, underlying apple and notes of orange. Medium bodied, petrol, sweet apple, notes of orange, fresh, tangy acidity carries a very good length, slightly spicy finish. Very good, still going strong.
Medium straw colour with very slight greenish tinge. Petrol, citrus fruits, peach on the nose. Almost smokey. Rich, off dry, but with good balancing acidity and minerality, good length. Paired very well lightly spiced grilled prawns.

(Leon Beyer Riesling Escaillers) #1; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-basil mixed with ripe papaya; pumpkin seeds; green melon; quite interesting; PALATE-bone dry with a kick on the back-end of really interesting fig, star fruit and lime; very clean and crisp citrus action; very fresh; like cucumber water; great acidity and great balance and a beautiful back-end; petrol; aluminum; bring on the whole fish and I'm a happy boy; I really like the viscosity of this wine; this is not inexpensive, but there are a lot of $40-$60 Chardonnay's that don't bring me the pleasure and complexity that this wine brings to the table; this brings serious thunder; DS-90; GV-91
