Typical Rosenblum - sweet & smooth. Lots of blackberry. The tannins are smooth but stronger than most of their Zins, giving the wine a good backbone. Great balance between tannins & acidity, and I'd guess there's a couple more years of life left (but no need to wait). A winner if you like New World style.

Dark rich purple color and a nose of sweet ripe and dark fruit which followed thru on the palate with a sense of sweetness in the fruit...that this time tended to have a little more framework with an edge of acidity that I have missed in previous encounters. A lot more approachable...

Dark purple, and a very strong wandering nose of sweet ripe fruit...berries, dark plums and a backing of spice. A little better than last tasting, but still a little too sweet for my taste and a little fat with most of the framework on the backend, which was a relief.

On the nose lots of dark fruit , a strong wiff of vanilla and on day 2 maybe a hint of eucalyptus, very little heat, on the palate more like an Australian fruit bomb shiraz showing plum with the vanilla persisting through the finish. Silky mouthful with an even finish, day 2 show a bit more tartness on the finish. I like this wine especially since it is a closeout
