The most interesting showing (and sadly the last) of the four bottles purchased in 2015. Light ruby with a garnet rim. Sandalwood, citronella and light red berries on the nose. The palate is seamless and elegant, showing medium-bodied strawberry and raspberry with underlying warm caramel notes. Tertiary flavors are peeking through.

Aromas of cranberry, wild strawberry, warm caramel, and hint of persimmon. The middle palate gets a dose of ripe red berries accented by fresh acidity and gentle tannic grip. Some earthiness emerges on the back palate. Finishes long with a pleasing inner sweetness. Excellent on its own and even better with charcuterie.

Color: cherry red, pale. Nose: floral, red berries and cherries. Mouth: red cherry flavors, medium+ acidity, integrated tannins, medium- body, medium finish (6-7 sec). Typical RDM - not a complex wine but very enjoyable. Drink now - 89 pt.
