  Deep golden color. Wine seems very viscous and thick. Not a light white. Not sure if this wine had more primary fruit when it was young but now the fruit seems to have gravitated to the background. I get a hint of melon. Also a bit of oak but not very pronounced. Good balance between acid, fruit, and alcohol. A get a bit of heat on the finish but not overwhelming. Maybe a slight minerality on the finish as well. Very nice.

  Day 1. Some oak. Thick golden color. Full body. Delicious and really nice. Drink this on the first day, as Day 2 the wine was tasteless. We drank this with friends who also really enjoyed this blended wine.
