  Interestingly slightly oxidized, almost Sherry Fino type of aromas and although less but something similar going on the palate too. Bold flavors but the texture is not overly heavy or buttery, good balance between fruit and oak a little bit on the fruit's side more. Classic Sonoma County Chard, certainly kept more elegant than something you would expect from e.g. Napa. Also I found many common things with there older 2006 basic Chardonnay.
