Very dark red. Generous nose of raspberry compote, spice, cedar and cherry cola. Lots going on, balanced, smooth as silk, cranberry, blackberry and sweet black cherry followed by a super long finish. I really like the Paso Tempranillos, they are bigger, deeper and more fruit expressive than New world Spanish Toros. Did taste it against a Numanthia 2006. Loved them both.

Ruby to purple. Fully extracted nose and body. Drank next to a Ribero de Duero and other than the flavor and tannin profile not a lot in common. Well balanced and still young.

Yum, yum, yum. Great representation of Tempranillo from one of our favorite producers. Clearly American made, and will never be mistaken for Rioja or Ribera Del Douro, but that’s okay. Booker always seems to make big wines that still have finesse and personality. No specific notes, other than to say it’s good stuff.

Bold and dense. Dark fruit, tobacco and graphite. Full bodied and balanced with integrated tannin. Exceptional with pork ribs.
