This is not a "supertuscan blend". With 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, it is a splendid Texas High Plains reflection of a "right-bank Bordeaux" blend. Aniseed and black pepper aromas open up to red fruit and spice flavors with a medium finish that is smooth and firmly structured.

Excellent wine. Raspberries, cherries, fruitcake. One of the best Becker wines.
