I am normally not a fan of California's interpretation of syrah - but this wine totally rocks! Easily one of the best syrah, if not the best syrah I've had from the states.
It pours a very dark red. The nose is quite elegant with lots of BBQ potato chips on the nose, sun roasted raisins, and hints of dark fruit. It is medium bodied, tannins nicely integrated, easy drinking, and very flavorful. Good stuff right here! Was very pleasantly surprised at how good it really is and drinks above it price point. In a nice spot now and will continue drinking well over the next few years. Would absolutely buy again!
