Red raspberries, black cherries, a hint of barnyard funk, tarragon and black pepper on the nose. Raspberries, dust, bacon grease and smoke on the palate which ends with garrigue and black licorice notes. Overall great intensity of both flavors and aromas.
Medium + body with medium, lingering tannins and medium acid.

Not giving a numerical rating since I think this is in a slightly dumb phase. That said, it appears to have structure (specifically, ample tannin and acid) to support a long life. The nose and palate are kind of unidimensional and dominated by sour cherry, black licorice, and olive tapenade. Opened up partially after an hour decant, but I feel like this still needs time to develop.
Addendum-Tasted again after two days under vacuum. Unfortunately this doesn’t portend too well as with a half hour of air started having some not entirely pleasant stewed prune and mushroom-type flavors.

Medium red ruby with some browning on the edges. Obvious Grenache nose with some elements of rose petal. Entry rather rough with lots of glycerine, salt and cooked orange from the Grenache, plenty of tannins and an alcohol afterburner. A bit shy on fruit. Needs time to soften if the fruit will hold.

Raspberry, sour cherry, licorice, dust, a little funk. Medium body, medium finish.
