  Soft with mild astringency in the tannins. Improved in the glass. Classic earth notes, mild mushroom and red fruit tones. Still some time.

  Easy to like. Darkish red fruit spectrum with Asian spice and purple flowers. Palate was light as expected for the vintage. Drinking well now.

  Return to Willamette; 7/2/2023-7/8/2023 (Portland & Willamette): Bright and classy style of wine. More subtle. More fruit driven than earth. Drinks nicely but seems to miss the next level of depth.

  Camille Giroud Cellar Visit and Tasting (Beaune): Popped and poured at the domaine. Charming aromatic start is slightly floral as well as earthy with forward red fruit and lots of energy. Should be accessible young, probably starting from 2019 forward.
