  • I got it at 40% off because the shop must have considered it too old ! At 17 dollars (in Switzerland) this is the best priced quality burgundy ever !

  • PNP. Cork perfect. Starts a little shrill so passed thru Venturi. This settled things. This is light bodied and polite. There is still fair amount of acid and tannin lurking here and I don’t think that the fruit will outlive the structure. Drink near term

  • In a very nice spot. I would say this has just crested a plateau. It is ethereal and complex on the nose: dried berries, pine needles, sassafras, roses, tobacco, coffee, blood... Supple tannins, but there's significant acid cut and it is light, so it is no so smooth, rather jumpy and nervy, but I like its slightly rustic nature. Fresh and lively, subtle and intricate, this really makes me wonder how spectacularly beautiful will be the very best of 2013 red Burgundy. I wouldn't push this one. Maybe another couple years of this kind of performance.
