White Burgundy Dinner (Asia Grand): PnP. Lemon, steel, acidity bordering on intrusive. Long and focus finish. Hopefully time will help soften the acid but not sure if there are sufficient fruits to balance it out.

White Burgundies at Asia Grand: Nobody could place this as a CdN white unsurprisingly. Acid was a little screechy with sweet ripe fruit that suggested a little botrytis so I went for 2010 Puligny. Others liked it more than I did, thought it was interesting but not very enjoyable to me. Treat to have tried this though.

Quite interesting. I've tried a few bottles of this Gouges blanc cuvee. This vintage had striking minerality, slightly obtuse acidity, not as much depth or richness as I expected. Cohered a bit over 2 hrs. A bit pricey for what it is.

Tasted blind. Simple nose, flowery, sweetish, like a Puilly Fuissee. The palate is also on the fruity side. An entry level white Burg. Apparently this is Pinot blanc and not Chard.
