Further to my pervious note, this bottle was only very slightly oxidised (cork perhaps?). Still a lovely wine, but darker gold. There's plenty of buttery creaminess to the wine, but five months later has taken on some nutty and even honey aromas. I have one bottle left and will be drinking very soon. I don't want this to turn into Sherry! Past peak.
Little bit of funk on opening, but after 20 minutes, the wine was singing. Notes of butter, sweet oak, peach and lemon with a creamy palate and great length. Refreshing medium acidity and the slight funk at the beginning tells me this wine is at its best. It could go on for a couple more years at most, but as it's under cork, I'd drink up if you have any.
