  Over 90+ minutes decant. Medium-deep garnet in colour. Nose of stewed plums and raspberries, dried cherries, wet tobacco and getting hints of chestnuts. On the palate, there are herby black cherries and raspberry fruits with some ripe plums and some dark cassis; tannins still evident and still has a bit of a bite to them. Medium bodied with a smoky tobacco medium-long finish.

  excellent fucking wine hitting all the right notes right now. I wouldn’t bother holding longer. this is a great spot for it. decanted about 1.5 hours which may have helped.

  I’m a unabashed big CDP fan and one of the best examples of this great classics wine - when produced - is Laurence. Been over a year when I last tried and it was tremendous and yes that’s a boases view.
