W spicey venison sausage / gound meat + chickpeas. Very yummy meal and a perfect combination with the wine. Outstanding wine, great color, great nose and on palate initially a bit dry but came around nicely. Good syrah start and finish. These guys make great wines.

Followed for two days. It really calmed down a lot overnight, though I don't think you drink these wines for calmness. These are bold, in-your-face fruit and oak, with a strong wallop of tannins and heat. Knowing that, this was still a rough ride at times, mostly due to so much tannic grip, and kind of a mid-palate dropoff. If I had a second bottle, I'd give it another 2 years to see what happens. Black plum/purple color, about 80% opaque, with stained, slow legs and a small amount of sediment. 4+11+15+8 = 88, with some hope for the future

Delicious, and absolutely ready to drink. My only bottle; wish I'd kept notes.

Fantastic. Drinking beautifully. Muted tannins at this point, dark fruit, a little leather, a little earthy.
