Blood red, with a lighter shade at the edge. Beautful nose of spice, blackberry, and raspberry. A bit thin on the palate, with only the tart side of the fruit showing up, and some tannin. May resolve to something good with food, but only "ok" right now.

Dark and chewy, earthy and spicy with lots of darker fruit flavors, hints of oak and tannins on the finish. Started tight, almost a reductive element until opened for awhile. Really pretty packed for a sub $20 pinot, a real contrast to the Acme NV just a day before. Good value.

ok value, but not a stle I love. Neither the fruit finesse or structure to love this wine.
