A fairly deep colour. This is an attractive, perfumed, mid-weight Burgundy, with more black fruit than red (black cherry/bilberry) and a hint of violets. Quite elegant and long. Drinking well now, and unlikely to improve.
Burgundy tasting chez La Grappe. A lighter colour than most of the other wines in this tasting. Quite aromatic nose and delicate on the palate. Seems fully mature. Not really of grand cru quality, but certainly very good.
Strawberry, game and a little mushroomy funk on the nose. Alcohol showing a little hot and bitter. At the same time quite lightweight, resolved, certainly wouldn't have taken it for Grand Cru wine but still characteristic and good.
