Medium orange red color with a watery rim. Decanted 30 minutes. Still fresh and high acid but the tannins are light. Rose aromas and taste, with some sweet spice and coffee flavors. Very nice with food and drinking well now. Great value and typically Nebbiolo.

Wit late summer vegetables and pasta, with olives, etc. I thought I had more of these, but it looks like I am down to just one more. This was very tasty, not a lot of new things to add. The rose aroma is rising. Had the weightless power of good nebbiolo--tastes rich without being heavy. If I find this again at a similar price, I would re-purchase.

James Suckling 93 p.

Weeknight Barbaresco? Sure, when it's SIP and the wine is priced pretty reasonably. Noticing a pattern in my consumption, so I will probably have to check in with this again on DTN. This is good, and remains consistent with the notes below. Not expecting much evolution in 6 month intervals, nor is this supposed to be a particularly age-worthy example, but it's something good to drink if you just like nebbiolo that spends a little time in large barrels before going into bottle.

One of four Nebbiolos at Duck Taco Night, and the most expensive of the lot. How are they faring? Pretty well, but I'd say some of the others were just as good. This is good, nails the typicity, won't take forever to be at peak, and will defend the bottles that do. Roses, cherries, silky texture. Nothing very different from the last time. Maybe save the remaining for annual DTN festivities?
