Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 90 points

  • Had one glass upon opening, and then decanted for four hours. Young, juicy Syrah profile. Nose of smoked meats, cherry, and a little bit of oak. On the palate, it's got a good dose of acidity, but it's well balanced with enough fruit and tannin to keep it all in check. Dark fruits, silky texture. Medium length finish. This is a bright, lively Syrah that's just starting to come out of its shell. Gets better with air, but this is one I won't touch again until 2020-2022 at the earliest.
