Opened and poured i to a decanter. Then enjoyed. Recorked and refrigerated half. Dark color. Nose of dark fruits with herbal mi t. Beautiful wine. Depth of dark fruit with an herbal mint accent. Such complexity. This was delicious. 13.8% abv. Quality cork with vintage.

2 hour decant, wine is open for business but still quite tannic and primary. Green pepper, graphite, dark berry fruit, balanced acidity. More St. Julien then California. Very well made and not a fruit bomb by any means. Long life ahead.

Pop and pour was a green and vegetal. Day 2 was much better as the green dominance blew off. I still think a longer rest is needed for this wine to improve.

Took a day for tannins to soften. Rich, black cherry fruit with chewy tannins and earthy, bell pepper flavors, excellent structure, ample acidity and finish

Outstanding wine. Not a heavy cabernet, more subtle. Easy to drink and enjoy. Notes of plums, fig and prune. Slight leather on the finish. Highly recommend.
