  I've had this wine numerous times in the past, and I just love this Condrieu producer. My notes remain consistent even now, 8 years in. This viognier always has a very aromatic nose of white flowers, apricots, pears and peaches. Very elegant, a bit bigger-bodied than I recall, exuding bananas, apricots and peaches, but blended splendidly with a crisp acidity resulting in a very long, pleasant finish. There's plenty of fruit here, just enough of an acidic backbone, and minerals galore meshed wonderfully into a complex blend of damn fine viognier juice.
  Many prefer drinking their V young--and I don't necessarily disagree, but this wine continues to deliver.This is what viognier is meant to be.

  Just love this Condrieu producer. This is what viognier is meant to be. Generous aromatic nose of white flowers, apricots, pears and peaches. Very elegant, light-medium body exuding apricots and peaches, but blended splendidly with a crisp acidity resulting in a very long, pleasant finish. There's plenty of fruit here, just enough of an acidic backbone, and minerals galore meshed wonderfully into a complex blend of damn fine viognier juice. Many prefer drinking their viognier young--and I don't necessarily disagree, but this wine is drinking great at 7 years young...
  P.S. Finished off this bottle last nite and it was almost as good as when I first opened it. Lovely wine.

  Aged but still delicious Condrieu.
  Flowers and apricot. Nice minerals. We just drank it with a vegitarian dish including aubergine, courgette and some delicate middle eastern spices, and it combined excellent! Ogier produces some gems...
