Big, bold, beautiful experience. Aromas were stingy but fabulous (get your nose close and you'll understand). Flavors incredibly balanced with fruit and spice coated with a silky mouth-feel and finish. Brilliant!

Fairly dark color, not motor oil by any means. The nose is strong ripe plum but no heat although it looks like there should be. The palate screams cool vintage petite sirah, no questions about it. Just classic sirah fruit and grittiness. There's a touch of heat on the medium fishish but not distracting.

2004 was a ripe year but wow, the consentration of this Pinot is stunning. More amazing is it's still holding together very well which can't be said for other wines of this vintage and style.

(Pisoni Pinot Noir Estate) Medium dark cherry red color; strong oak and vanilla nose; sappy, big, concentrated cherry palate with a maple note, oak less dominant on palate but a little disjointed; medium finish
(Pisoni Pinot Noir Estate) Sexy cherry and creme brulee nose; big, ripe, elegant cherry fruit (but a bit tight, should benefit from a few years in the cellar); long finish

Almost Barolo-like. Notes of cedar, roses, cherry, orange rind, leather, spice, cured meats. Complex and delicious.

Ripe black cherry, raspberry, plum. Cedar, the slightest hint of vanilla. Still some acidity. Drinking beautifull with 14 years of age.
