  Concentrated, cordial-like nose of blackcurrant, liquorice, and pencil shavings. Palate is reduced and concentrated, with little structure left, but it still shows strong acidity and moderate tannin, with a fairly clean finish. Shows concentrated flavours of black cherry and blackcurrant, with an uplifting note of white grapefruit. Not one to age further, but drinking surprisingly well now.
