Very good QPR on this wine. Still drinking very young with firm tannins and plentiful fruit. Wine paired great with a steak. This wine should age very well. Don't let the secondary label or the non vineyard designation fool you. This is a very good wine.

I agree, that this wine is not in the same class as the more expensive and complex Keplinger wines, such as Keplinger Red Slope, but it is still enjoyable and very drinkable, nonetheless. It has a very deep purple color and a nose of dark berries, red berries, and spice. This wine is fruity, with tastes of blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries. There is also plenty of spice and oak, as well. It is complex, balanced, and medium to full bodied with an ample finish.

Young. I needed to Vinturi to soften the tannins. Well balanced. Good wine.

As advertised, ready to drink young. 1 hour decant really was optimal. Good varietal character. Enjoyable. $35. . . . Not sure. Not great QPR.

Liked this even less than my previous attempt. Very green and vegetal.
