What a lovely and interesting wine. The blend of Grüner and Silvaner makes for interesting flavors, some fruit and almost spice that you associate with Gewurtraminer but also the crisp acidity of a Grüner. Very dry. Worth every penny.

Another disappointment from Rheinhessen. Advertised with "notes of hey and gras, peaches and peas", this wine is as bad as your regular no name bottle from the supermarket for 2,99. Over the last years I have tasted many Rheinhessen wines and my conclusion so far: All the talk about "Rheinhessen becoming an area for good wine with young winemakers etc blabla" is nothing but a huge marketing hoax.

Clear, pale intensity, lemon-green color. Showing some spritz right upon opening.
Youthful nose with a medium intensity. Lots of green fruit, grassy herbs, elderflower, fresh grape and a hint of cheese rind.
Dry, medium acidity and medium(-) body. Medium intensity of flavors with loads of lime and green apple. Grassy herbs, unripe pear and elderflower.
My second time tasting this wine and I still thinks this is a very boring wine. Not bad in anyway but a bit too generic.
