  • 1st of 2 and it's definitely time to drink them. Deep amber that's bricking. Smells like stewed darker fruits, lemon, graphite, little heat and floral. Medium body, high acid, good length, and flavors of faded black and dark red fruits, lemon, loads of minerals, and spice. The acid and spice give this some punch in spite of the fading fruit, so I can see this being brash in its youth, but it's definitely time to drink up with heartier fare like meat sauced pastas. 88-89

  • Extremely tannic even after 8 years of development. Nose of vanilla and alcohol still in place afterburner viturri and 2 hours exposed to air. Medium body with good deep red/crimson color - looks like a few more years? A bit odd for a rosso.
