Well balanced nose with medium ripe fruit, some citrus, and herbs. Good acidity and more citrus/lemon flavors, minerals, and apples on the palate. Good finish. This has aged surprisingly well.

Figured I'd throw in my 2 cents since this tasting note is for a wine with a few more years of bottle age than those of the other commenters. The wine has held up very well. I agree with FINEWINEBUFF57; this wine is recognizably New World, but I could believe it was a full bodied white Burgundy (St Aubin?) if I was served blind. The oak is present but well integrated, fresh citrus flavors are present with secondary/tertiary aromas of brown sugar and bruised apple creeping in. In my opinion, the alcohol is a bit hot, but just a bit. Half-full bottle kept well in the fridge for a couple of days. I think it will evolve even for a couple more years. Well done!

Nose of Lemon and Apricot. Lemon, Apricot and grapefruit on the pallete with medium level oak. Malo fermentation. Definetely california style. Golden hue indicates. Still plentty of fruit but drinking well.

Definitely Californian but towards the Burgundy end of that spectrum. Coming into its own now but sufficient acidity for on going development.
