Fun to taste this five years later. Somewhat ageless, perhaps due to the screw cap, Clear, med ruby. Clean, with ripe red fruit, overripe plum, earth, cola, herbs and oak spice. Dry, with medium acidity, medium tannins and medium (+) alcohol at 13.5%. Still surprisingly lively, spicy, medium-bodied red, with medium flavor intensity and length. Fine by itself and with food. Great value.

Decent Syrah. Nothing stands out, but nothing to criticize. Keep on the everydaylist.

Black pepper and black fruit. Gentle tannin. A touch of grape kool-aid on the finish. Wish there were better wines available in half bottles...
