Absolutely delicious! only drawback was the cork was stuck in the bottle even with a screwpull opener... Had to decant through a coarse filter to keep the cork bits out... The wine itself is brilliant! Cedar, mint, dark fruit and a touch of chocolate on the finish. Definitely worth developing!

Good color - and very nice tannins - just seems a bit vague on the fruit side. Another comment recommended letting it breath and that has certainly helped.

Dark color, subdued fruit and tight. Too much of an earthy barnyard taste for me. It did not improve a second day. Just didn't come together all that well. It's not that it was bad just not worth purchasing again.

Definitely a smoky nose and flavor. Good tannins. Fruit tastes of cherries and plums. Should be drinkable for several more years. Drank with braised short ribs and polenta -- yummy!

A very nice wine to go with a hearty and spicy meal. It's shortfall is that it needs to breathe or to be matched with bold foods and this is just not what I'd expect from a bottle that is less than $15. We drank ours at a French-Caribbean fusion restaurant with duck, venison and jerk spices - making it a perfect combination.
