  • Quite amazing how young these P2 and P3 series are showing. The wine looks like the latest cuvée in the glass but for fewer bubbles. Subtle but beautiful nose of creamy vanilla bean, soft Dom brioche, and grapefruit citrus. Palate is pure cream, vanilla, toasty almonds, buttermilk pancake, and mild citrus in the back. Hints of lemon. Better effervescence than the '82 P3 enjoyed a week or so ago. Notably younger than the '69 P3 enjoyed afterwards and missing that smoky caramel profile. No denying it is a beautiful wine, but again would be very interested in testing alongside the '70 oenotheque or regular cuvée.
