Such a pleasant surprise! I know Alta Colina for their syrahs and their GSM blend, but this wine is (was!) delicious yet again. Our notes were very consistent from the last time we tasted it in 2015 with the additional delight of additional age and richness. It will likely last another few years, but it is drinking beautifully right now!

Very interesting wine. It opens with a big, dark fruit driven nose. We got tastes such as plum and blackberries with a considerably amount of what we decided to call "earthiness." The wine seemed a bit young; as if it will be richer and better balanced when it gets some age on it. Full disclosure: I like just about every wine the Tillman Family makes, but I think I jumped the gun on this one. Wait.

Intoxicating nose...rich, red, spicy fruit. Bright on the palate, with spicy acidity on the finish.
