  This wine is well-bodied, light, and still marked by the barrel-aging. It presents a nose with good depth, with a mixture of red fruits. There is good fruit weight in the palate with abundant tannins and well-balanced acidity through a very long finish in the mouth. It's a modern, classic well-rounded that is the end of life.

  Austere, with little fruit left. All tertiary. Tannins still quite drying. Not a lot of fun to drink, and may not have much left. I would drink any remaining bottles of this vintage sooner rather than later

  A good wine. Quite big and bold on the first day. Better and more elegance on the second day. Cherries and blackberries,spice.
  Proper Rioja.
