  • What a joy! Delicious smell and taste right out of the bottle, slightly improved with three hours of air. Definitely a mature wine, no need to wait I think, but this will probably last several years more. Other enthusiastic notes describe this wine well. My keywords were: forest, autumn, earth. Paired very well with a hearty partridge stew. Love a great Brunello!

  • Absolutely spectacular. Not sure I can add anything more than the other community notes. Decanted for an hour but didn’t need it. Just beautiful. Paired with smoked lamb and root vegetables. From magnum. Has plenty of life remaining but not sure it gets any better from here.

  • Lovely and in a sweet spot. PNP, Beautiful aromas of red fruit, sweet spices, earth, balsamic, mushroom, wet leaves, leather. Full body, with refreshing acidity, moderately warming alcohol, and supporting tannic structure (tannins are ripe and still moderately drying, but not in disturbing way). Very persistent flavor of red fruit (ripe cherry), meat, ashes, with hints of minerality and sweetness (vanilla). Well integrated. Nothing wrong with this bottle, actually very enjoyable (perhaps lacking a mid of mid-palate weight and fruit concentration). Drink now or hold for a few more years thanks to fresh acidity and ripe tannins.

  • When the bottles are good, this wine is amazing. However, I only got 1 bottle of out of 3 that was drinkable. Other two where corked beyond recognition.

  • One of the best Brunello’s I’ve had. Looking forward to seeing how the others develop over the years.
