Drank NYE 2021 after forgetting about this in the top shelf of the wine fridge for years. Was originally brought back from Sicily by a Sicilian friend and stored well for the past 10 years. Beautiful caramel color but with some sediment. Delicious, exceeded expectations. Nutty sweetness that created a nice balance.

NV that has been hanging around for almost 8 years... When poured, there appeared to be a touch of oxidation (no surprise) but as it warmed it showed wonderful elements of sweet spice, orange peel, marmalade, citrus and honey. Tiny bit of volatility but not much. Still only a medium length finish but still very very good.

Zeste d'orange, marmelade et caramel caractérisent ce vin de dessert un peu lourd, surtout quand dégusté après un Tokaji Aszu. Bon, c'est bon quand même.

A: Clean, Med Intensity Orange [Zest/Marmalade, but made with Mandrain organes not regular sunkist] Chemically [As one Class mate said New Carpet Smell teacher suggested Volatitly Acid] Peachy, Caramalized...Opened up later with A "Chinese Food Vibe" Lemongrass, MSG, Sesame Oil
T: Sweet, Low Acid, Med(-) Body A Fruit Cake made with Concentrated Golden Raisons
Conclusion: I Wish it tasted like it smelled so interesting, The Low Acid Hurt this wine I think, but intersting to say the least

Oranges, raisin, spice and honey nose. Full, sweet, spiced and warming palate; well-balanced finish.
