Rich, creamy and luscious. Paired with a salmon pate salad as a starter for a dinner party. Perfect balance of fruit and acidity. Still one of our favorite Chardonnays from Napa Valley.

Nice. Golden yellow in color, with an initial palate of oaky fruit followed by stone fruit and acidity on the long and complex finish. An interesting mix, but it works. Medium rich with a few buttery notes.

N: OAK, but BEAUTIFULLY done, & therefore attractive
P: MF, poss Med, body; Very RNDISH entry with the OAK/frt met by bitterish acidity which DOES lose the majority of its wallop by the LONG, ultimately bitterSWT finish. An outlier stylistically, but well done in that "oaky" genre. Nonetheless, drink NOW & into early Fall '18 as I'd be concerned about the oaky bitterness wiping out the other elements... SOMEWHERE along the line. 90 pts ea WS & WA; [This vendor's $34.95 is $5 < than anything else I saw!]
