  An old friend, we purchase and drink many bottles of this per vintage. As with previous releases, this is a subtle wine that needs you to hold it on the palate for a few seconds to gain full appreciation. All of the fruit and earthy flavors are bathed in tons of refreshing, enhancing, forgiving and appropriate acid. The color is really orange. The nose is more floral than fruity. Coats the palate with watermelon and Granny Smith apple acidity that lingers for minutes on the finish.

  Most of the prior community descriptors are accurate. A solid $11 summer rose quaffer; it won't blow you away, but it's simple and easy to drink.
