A little rasiny in the nose, boozy too. Kinda reminds me of Amarone. It's not though. Stewed fruits, leather, eucalyptus (as mentioned before), oak, and booze in the nose and mouth. Full body med/- tannin, lower acid, loads of mouth feel. Comes off a bit cloying/hot. I believe that sans liege's wines are, for the most part, best consumed young.

Popped-n-poured with about a 20 min rest in glass. Begins with an inviting nose of lightly toasted spices and a hint of eucalyptus. A little heat, but this should blow off if allowed more time in glass or decanter. Easy entry that warms and coats the palate yet remains light enough to balance the delicious dark fruit. Lingering finish with a little prickle on the tongue. Very tasty. Enjoyable now.

Opened and then served 1 hour later. Good up front fruit, balanced, very drinkable now. Medium body, not a lot of complexity. Average length. No heat from the alcohol, easy to like.

Deep translucent ruby. Quite intense nose, dark red fruit. Rich fruit, medium to full body. Clean. Very tasty. Long finish, starts fruity gaining a bit of quinine in time

Sweet dark fruits, a little pepper, a little heat, and a long, luxurious finish.
What a lovely wine, and an even better QPR!
