Lovely wine, drinking very well now. Peach, Melon and a bit of Mayer Lemon. Struck match in there as well. Balanced acidity carries the wine through an extended finish.

Enjoyed this wine over 3 days and must admit it drew me more and more. More viscous than expected. Presents as a yellow tinged green colour. An interesting blend of pineapple, melon, honey and even a bit buttery. Rounded but not flabby. It had both a fullishness of flavour (spectrum) but yet a certain delicacy and elegance. Enjoyable wine that stands on its own.

Nice wine - young and still finding its place in the world. All the elements are there. The fruit is bright with grapefruit and melon. There is also creamy notes, typical of Lake's Folly. I think the next bottle will be next year.

Lake's Folly Birthday lunch (McLeay Street Bistro, Potts Point): Stone fruit, sweet spice, lemon, quite polished cedar, butter, oak and some alcohol heat. Okay.
