Extremely good and complex Oregon pinot that crosses between some of the more new world style pinots and a Cote de Nuits style burg. First hits the palate with rich cherries, but then there is a solid backing of tannins, minerality and smoky flavours as it finishes. I think this has lots of time left and probably could easily drink well until mid decade.

Had with Thanksgiving dinner and didn't take detailed notes at the time. Again, did not disappoint. Somewhat light in color and body but still complex, balanced, compelling, and enjoyable to drink. A real outlier (positively) among the Willamette pinot noirs that I've had. A no-brainer re-buy at $22.

The nose on this is a little thin and lean towards raspberry, while the palate is a stronger statement of raspberry and light earth elements. This is a lighter bodied pinot that pairs well with food.

Detailed notes lacking. Drank at pool party at our house with Mexican food. Went nicely with good balance of fruit and spice with the robust but not super spicy food. Similar to previous bottles over all.

Bramble, spice, sweet rose scent. Cranberry, stone and saline flavor. A bit tight - green stem like - on the finish.
