Nose of cranberry, sour cherry, caramelized sugar, and a slight touch of leather. Flavors of cranberry, red raspberry, and white pepper on the palate. The wine has a slight tannic bite that meshes nicely with the medium long finish. Not sure that it will improve much with additional time in the bottle.

Popped and it seemed ready to go after only an hour or so open. Medium to profound aromas of cherry pie, pepper, a little green juniper and chalky peppermint. The plush, supple texture fits right in with the Grenache flavor profile and is buttressed by a great kick of acidity. Red licorice and candy cigarette (which I like) also keep popping in my mind as descriptors. Mac has done it again, continuing to translate Paso's exceptional aptitude with Rhone varietials. 4+12+17+9 = 92

PNP, drank over 2 nights. Translucent maroon color. Very attractive nose, with cherry fruit prominent. Mouth-coating texture is this wine's calling card. Finish is long and spicy. Very nice.

PNP, drank over 2 nights. Beautiful nose, beautiful taste. Paso’s answer to CdP. Smooth, easy drinker, but has something to say.
