  • Full bodied, modern "wall of sound" style. Nose could be any generic grocery store CS at any price - plenty of oak, vanilla, stewed purple fruit. Palate however is simply a massive fruit-forward new world monolith comprised of mulled spices, purple fruit and berries, and tree fruit and skins. Good balance of fruit and oak spice, with tannins in check. Long and powerful finish, with a sense of mulled blueberries. Drink now into 2030s

If you prefer nuance and secondaries, avoid - but if you like your wine with larger than life fruit and wood spice, jump on this before it gets too expensive. 91-92pts

  • Great QPR with beautiful fruit! Works as a PnP but is improved with airtime, either decanting or a slow ox. I find this wine less manipulated and a more clear expression of the vine than the Realm wines, which are more extracted and then touched with more oak.

  • Excellent. Hints of vanilla, with smooth finish. Drink now. Did decant for 1 hour.

  • Big & Bold wine, unmistakably and unashamedly new world. It did it did mellow with time so maybe some decanting would be advisable. Big & rich dark fruit across here. A perfect match however for the famous burger at Mineta Tavern, NY. 91

  • Amazing accessibility for such a young wine. Amazing poise and balance. Silky smooth tannins with big dark fruit backstopped by Cigar box, some tar, pepper and warm oak....especially the tannins come through.

We opened as a pop and pour and it drank well within thirty minutes but was really singing at two hours.
